Dave,
My daughter and I are planning to come up (from San Diego) to your Open House. I was just concerned as to your lack of presence on the website. I just wanted to make sure the Open House is still on for this weekend.

Thanks & Hope to see you soon.

We're going to be in San Diego in August for a long weekend and were wondering about possibly driving to Anaheim to see the sights, Disneyland for a few hours, etc. Anyone have suggestions for "other" sites to see?

OH MY! An open house March 13th! I started a 5 week vacation a few days ago. My Wife and I have plans to visit Disneyland a couple of times this month. Looks like we will be making an extra stop on March 13th. :-)

Hi Dave!! Yes, it was very early this morning when I registered. I sent you a message about a project I am working on and I was wondering if you received it? If not, let me know. I am glad to be a part of your site and I enjoyed reading about your vision and what you're up to. Hope to talk to you again soon!

Hey, Dave. Yes, I modified an LGB Toy Train into a close representation of the Nature's Wonderland trains, then built the ore cars from Hartland mini-kits. The outside structure is stucco, and my first attempt at constructing a railbed. I'm working on adding some Rainbow Ridge buildings onto another part of this layout as well, then come spring I'll add plants and trees. It's hard to find materials and foilage that will standup all year long to the desert extremes. My name's Derek, by the way - I'm just cautious about posting my real name on the internet - sorry. I follow the burnsland gang and was excited and awed when you joined and posted. I'm not sure I'm ready to join them yet - I feel out of my league in the knowledge dept. But I go at least twice a year to Disneyland and thought someday it might be nice to meet Dog and others. Anyway - too long of a post - sorry again. Thanks for replying.
